Erasing the Stigma
Students learned how to handle everyday feelings like frustration as well as how the brain controls our emotions. Students enjoyed how Alexander handled his frustrations when he had a 'terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day'.
I. C. Hope duck is the Ambassador for Mental Health. Thank you Mental Health America of Middle Tennessee for providing the program. |

Buster the Talking School Bus
|
The Great Kindness Challenge is one day devoted to performing as many acts of kindness as possible.
It is our hope that this day will inspire a lifelong commitment to service and kindness. Our students enjoyed a week of fun dress up days as well as doing kind deeds for staff and faculty. |
Mr. Nash came with Buster the Talking School Bus to teach our students safety rules for riding a school bus. We learned to get our school items ready the night before, arrive at the bus stop 5 minutes early, line up from shortest to tallest at the bus stop, and the 10 foot area around a school bus it the Danger Zone. Thanks for teaching us school bus safety.
